We were recently hired by Park Country Club, a country club located in Amherst, New York, to create a database for their golf department. Prior to our assistance, the golf department tracked all of its member information, equipment rentals, and lesson evaluations separately and on paper.
We created a database for Park that keeps track of all equipment rentals, as well as Club Pro and member information. Employees can quickly generate reports to see what equipment is available for rental. They can then use user friendly forms to enter in a record for a member to rent out a set of golf clubs and/or a golf cart. A report can also be generated to see if any equipment has been damaged and by which member. In addition, our database provides a form through which members can rate their lessons with the three Club Pros and leave additional comments about their experiences. A report can then be generated to show management the average rating of each Pro. Member information is also stored in the database. Staff can quickly open reports to see when members' contracts will expire so Park can quickly reach out to these members, asking them to renew their membership.
